KEDCO Entrepreneurship CentreThe Kingston Economic Development Corporation's (KEDCO) Entrepreneurship Centre can help you become a successful business owner!

The KEDCO Entrepreneurship Centre in partnership with the Ministry of Small Business and Consumer Services provides advice and counseling to both entrepreneurs who are starting up or who currently operate a business.

The Centre also provides personal consultations, a referral network, a resource library and entrepreneurial programs and workshops.  Every month, customized workshops and programs are organized with the entrepreneur in mind. 

Our Services

  • Resource Centre including free public access to computers and a printer, lending library and other resources on starting and growing your business;
  • Workshops and Programs designed for start-up to seasoned entrepreneurs;
  • One-on-One Consultations offered at four different levels: inquiries, start-up consultations, growth and retention consultations, and on-site consultations through our Business Visitation Program;
  • Youth Programs and information for the young entrepreneur including grant and loan opportunities;
  • Referral Network featuring opportunities to meet with our extensive mentor network that includes specialists such as lawyers, accountants, marketing managers etc. (Please note: a small administrative fee applies);
  • ENews for up-to-date business news and niche market information for artists in Business and entrepreneurship events.
