KEDCO Entrepreneurship CentreThe KEDCO Entrepreneurship Centre can help you become a successful business owner!

The KEDCO Entrepreneurship Centre, operating as a division of the Kingston Economic Development Corporation, provides advice and counseling to both entrepreneurs who are starting up or who currently operate a business.

The Centre also provides personal consultations, a referral network, a resource library and entrepreneurial programs and workshops.

Every month, customized workshops and programs are organized with the entrepreneur in mind.  For a complete overview of the educational offerings to help you get started, please download the 2008 Summer/Fall Programming Guide, or pick one up at the KEDCO Entrepreneurship Centre.

Our Services

  • Resource Centre including free public access to computers and a printer, lending library and other resources on starting and growing your business;
  • Workshops and Programs designed for start-up to seasoned entrepreneurs;
  • One-on-One Consultations offered at four different levels: inquiries, start-up consultations, growth and retention consultations, and on-site consultations through our Business Visitation Program;
  • Youth Programs and information for the young entrepreneur including grant and loan opportunities;
  • Referral Network featuring opportunities to meet with our extensive mentor network that includes specialists such as lawyers, accountants, marketing managers etc. (Please note: a small administrative fee applies);
  • Small Business Sizzler blog featuring information and advice on a variety of timely issues;
  • ENews for up-to-date business news and niche market information for artists in Business and entrepreneurship events.
